Amy-Jane was born and raised in North Wales, growing up in a small, seaside town. Early experiences on stage as a dancer sparked a life-long love for theatre and performance. After briefly attending Bangor University to study English Literature with Theatre, Amy relocated to Manchester to pursue her aspiration to become an actress. She recieved a First Class Honours degree in Media and Performance at the University of Salford in 2012 and signed with her first Agent at the University Showcase.
Since graduating, Amy has worked in television; including Hollyoaks (C4/E4) and Casualty (BBC). And also in theatre; including Blood Brothers (UK Tour) and Gaslight (UK Tour) performing at some of the largest theatres across the country.
In 2020, Amy-Jane took a break from acting (prior to the enforced break of a global pandemic) for her most important and rewarding role to date: becoming a mum.
Her daughter, Ada-Mae Rosabella, was born in the wee small hours of a sunny morning in June 2020 and has been delighting her mother every day since.
Currently living in Oxfordshire with her partner and daughter, Amy-Jane spends much of her time exploring the city, drinking oat lattes, watching Frozen (lots and lots of Frozen) and, of course, writing. That is, whenever the muse appears and the baby permits…
